Hi everyone in this article i’m going to show you how to Sync iPhone and iPad. So, you basically get identical information on both. There are actually two methods to do this
- By Correctly using iCloud
- And by using software
How to Sync iPhone and iPad by Correctly using iCloud?
Now the easiest way to do this and the first one I’m going to show you is by correctly using icloud because this will sync up 90% of things that you want to sync up. So where people get this wrong a lot is they actually use different apple id on there phone and their ipad. So to check this, Go to setting on your Smartphone then click on the icloud option in the setting. On the top your name should be appear if it says sign in make sure you click that and sign in to icloud.
What to check?
- You need to make sure whatever email shows up here under your name in the setting is the same email you are using on the icloud on the ipad.
- You have to be the same Apple id on your iPhone as well as on your iPad.
Then you have to go to settings on your iPad then click on your name on the top and make sure you are using the same Apple id. if your are not the rest is not going to work.
Next, go to Settings again on your iPhone, then click on iCloud. Everything you’re viewing on this page is synced with iCloud and your iPad. Items unchecked here won’t sync between the two devices. Ensure everything you see here is green to sync across both devices and to iCloud.
Now, some apps may not be compatible and won’t appear on your iPad. You’ll need to download them again from the App Store on the iPad. However, it’s okay since you can use the same user login and access the same information. Ensure that almost everything, from messages to photos, is checked here. This step is crucial.
If you want your photos to sync between your iPhone and iPad, ensure iCloud Photos is turned on in Settings. Choose ‘Optimize iPhone Storage’ and ensure it’s checked. Also, ensure ‘Shared Albums’ is enabled if you want them on your iPad too.
If individual photos aren’t showing on your iPad, you can use Apple’s AirDrop feature to share them. To use AirDrop, make sure both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on on your iPhone and iPad.
Second way by using Dr.Fone
If you’re not achieving what you need with the previous steps, there’s another easy way to sync iPhone and iPad using an app called Dr.Fone. However, you’ll need a computer for this. You’ll have to connect your iPhone and iPad one at a time, but essentially, Dr.Fone transfers anything from your phone to your Mac. First, plug in your phone to the computer and open the Dr.Fone app.
Now, you can transfer anything from your iPhone to another iPhone using it. In recent updates, Dr.Fone offers new features like data recovery and much more
