First of all Samsung and iPhone are the biggest competators in the world of flagship smartphones. iPhone do a little bit changes in there devices every year but now in the iPhone 14 pro Max they also bring some new features like there is a brand new Dynamic Island that is present on the front side of your Apple smartphone.

Build: The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has an aluminum frame, and the iPhone has a stainless steel. But when we see these flagships in terms of protection we’ve got Gorilla Glass Victus Plus on the S22 Ultra. The iPhone provides a Ceramic sheilds on the front and what’s Apple called the toughest glass on any smartphone at the back. Both of the phones are very premium and very durable.
Both of the devices are water resistance both of the devices got the IP68 ratings. However you can submerge in water deeper compared to the S22 Ultra. You can do it up to 6 meters vs. 1.5 meters. Now for the iPhone 14 Pro Max it looks pretty same as the iPhone 13 Pro Max. So as usual in the old iPhone series you are not getting so much design upgrades in it. Now looking at the screen to body ratio the Samsung have the higher Screen-to-body ratio. Because we have slightly smaller bezels, as well as a very small punch out. As the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is proving an extra Periscopic sensor but both of the devices are taking amazing pictures and videos. With the Samsung S22 Ultra you do get that versatility of focal lens, and that zoom is, I would say, one of the best out there. You also get better ultra wide camera, in my opinion, with better dynamic range. And you also get the best edge detection on the S22 Ultra.
In iPhone you get an overall more consistant package with better low light performance, specially in the video. And the iPhone is still king in video with great dynamic range, exceptional stabilization. Especially with the new action mode, and a very usable cinematic video mode, where it’s going to blur the background. So once again excellent cameras overall on both devices.
Performance:
Because both of the devices are the best smartphones so both of the devices also provides best processors.

Samsung One UI Vs. IOS 16:
I don’t go into debates between these two, and it’scome to a point where you really can’t go wrong with either OS. I think it’s going to come down to which ecosystem you prefer and want to get into. I do like some of the new features that have come with iOS 16, such as the remove background feature.
On the Samsung S22 Ultra it’s actually tied in really well with the Samsung ecosystem. So, if you do have other Samsung devices, you’ll also enjoy that experience. Once agian, I think this is going to definitely come down to personal perference.
Speakers:
Both of the devices got stereo speakers on both devices. There is one speaker in the earpiece and one bottom firing. And both actually sounds really, really good to me. But in some ways iPhone has a little bit better speakers and sound quality as compared to the Samsung S22 Ultra.
Battery:
Samsung S22 Ultra does have a larger physical battery, but its not all about size, dependng on the context. And in this context the iPhone does have better battery life. Samsung S22 Ultra have a 5000mAh battery and the iPhone 14 Pro Max hasve a 4323mAh battery. The iPhone have a round about 20 percent better battery timing then the Samsung S22 Ultra. Now for charging S22 Ultra provides 45W wired charging and 15W Qi wireless charging. On the other hand Apples provide 20W wired and 7.5W Qi wireless charging and also 15W MagSafe Charging.
On Samsung S22 Ultra you got 50 percent charge in around 20 minutes. where’s on the 14 Pro Max it takes 30 minutes to charge about 50 percent.
Conclution
So on the conclution, the iPhone has the advantages of a new faster chip, cool news features battery savings and the new Dynamic Island. On the other hand Samsung S22 Ultra have the bigger display, big battery, S-Pen, Faster Charging, and a long-range Telescopic camera lens. So if you want a lot of features and you have to be more independent then the Samsung S22 Ultra is for.
